  • All areas should be clean and maintained with good housekeeping.
  • Proper lighting arrangements should be available at the site.
  • Fire fighting equipment must be available and accessible.

  • Do not allow work without supervision.
  • Do not allow work without safety shoes, helmets, goggles and safety belt.
  • Ensure that all machines and equipment are proper and safe.
  • Ensure that every fire extinguisher is working and charged.
  • Ensure that workers know about the work they are doing.
  • Stores must be equipped with fire extinguishers.
